This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all services provided by SRV-CORE LLC. It supplements our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning in the Terms.
1. Lawful use
You must use SRV-CORE services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable local, state, national, and international law.
2. Prohibited content
You may not host, transmit, or link to content that:
- Is illegal or promotes illegal activity
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Contains malware, phishing, or deceptive software
- Exploits minors or distributes unlawful adult content involving minors
- Promotes violence, harassment, or hate against protected groups
3. Prohibited network and platform activity
You may not:
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operate mail systems with poor reputation
- Launch or participate in denial-of-service attacks or port scanning
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or networks
- Mine cryptocurrency without prior written approval
- Run resource-intensive processes that degrade service for other customers
- Use the service as a public file storage or proxy network unrelated to a legitimate website
- Resell or redistribute services without a written reseller agreement
4. Email and messaging
If email is included with your plan:
- Maintain valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records as we instruct
- Honor opt-out requests for any mailing lists you operate
- Do not relay mail for third parties without authorization
- Do not use purchased lists or harvested addresses for bulk mail
We may throttle, queue, or suspend mail that affects deliverability or our infrastructure.
5. Managed IT and professional services
If you purchase managed IT, cybersecurity, reporting, or other professional services:
- You must provide access only to systems you are authorized to administer
- You must not share credentials in plain text in tickets; use secure methods we provide
- You remain responsible for compliance with laws governing data you ask us to process
- We may refuse or discontinue work on systems that pose unacceptable risk to our staff or platform
Remote access and administrative actions are performed only within the scope of your active subscription or signed engagement.
6. WordPress and applications
You are responsible for updating applications, plugins, themes, and credentials. Do not install software intended to bypass security, distribute malware, or hide unauthorized access.
7. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to [email protected] with relevant URLs, timestamps, and logs. We may investigate and act at our discretion.
8. Enforcement
Violations may result in warning, content removal, service suspension, or termination without refund where permitted by our Refund Policy and Terms.
We may cooperate with law enforcement or rights holders when required by law or to protect our customers and infrastructure.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP by posting a new version at https://srv-core.com/legal/aup/. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.
